I have my Masters of Arts in Educational Technology degree from Michigan State University.  This program is very meaningful for me because it allows me to push students into more meaningful conversations and depth of understanding.  I have also earned my Career and Tech. In the summers I am work for a local golf course.  In the past I have worked for the City of Ann Arbor, working with the Technical Services Unit and has me challenged on a daily basis.  My duties are for me to inspect roads and sidewalks, along with working with homeowners and contractors that are trying to complete work on their own.

My student teaching was completed at Mason High School and while I was there I taught Algebra 1A, 1C, 2A and 2B.  While offering tutoring before and after school to help those that are struggling.  I was involved with the school by coaching freshmen football, freshmen boys basketball, junior varsity softball and FRC/First robotics mentor.

I spent four years earning my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Minor in Physics with a 3.2 GPA from Michigan State University.  While at MSU my final two years I worked part-time as a tutor helping students in a  wide variety of subjects, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Functions, Statistics, and Trigonometry(FST), and AP Chemistry.

I grew up in Tecumseh, Michigan going through the school system K-12 and graduated in 2006.  I took AP Statistics, AP Calculus and AP Environmental Science.  While in high school I played football for four years and ran track for my final two.  In my senior year, I was elected Captain for both sports by both my peers and coaches.  I was a member of the National Honor Society, National Math Honor Society, 4-H, and FCA/Varsity Club.
My free time is spent in the outdoors running, fishing, snowboarding/skiing, or just outside doing yard work.
