In order to achieve an environment where deeper, authentic and more engaging learning is taking place, the traditional classroom is redefined.  In supporting the 4C's of collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity, our learning spaces have been redesigned to include:

  • Collaborative working spaces

Tools that are used to support the teaching and learning process in Next-Gen classrooms include:

  • BYOD Policy

  • Document Camera

  • Chromebooks

  • Schoology Learning Management System

    • Notes blank and filled in​

    • Videos of notes and examples

    • Supplemental videos

    • Digital practice problems with immediate feedback

  • Enterprise wireless and business class internet​

Through the touch of a button in today's technology, students have access to endless information. This new generation of students pose a special challenge to the purpose, methods and structures of the current educational system. In order to build 21st century skills and a passion for lifelong learning, a few key pedagogical beliefs are the foundation of a Next-Gen Classroom:

  • Student as an active, self-directed learner capable of accessing knowledge and developing valuable ideas

Next-Gen classrooms are able to improve access to quality, relevant content that is available any time, any where and on any device as well as access to online resources that offer personalized learning and focus on addressing the achievement/equity gap. We focus on developing skills, knowledge and expertise that students need to master in order to be successful in their college and career readiness as well as become a productive global citizen through:
