This course taught me the how and why of using technology. I learned that incorporating technology for the sake of technology is not the overall goal of the program. The content needs to be meaningful and connected to state standards.
Teaching for Understanding with Technology

This course was a reintroduction to technology. I learned the basics of Google Drive along with exploring other technologies such as, Blogger and Phet.

This course took the idea of why are we using technology to a deeper leavel. We covered looked indepth to the research that has been completed and the effectivness of using technology. We learned some of the basics of creating screencasts and podcasts as well.
Applying Educational Technology to Issues of Practice

I created my own learning management system in this course and also incorporated it into my classroom. Students had the opprotunity to learn at their own pace and ask questions along the way. It was a learning experience for both of us.
